Goodbye 2018 and Hello 2019.

Wondering whether 2018 was successful or not. I think many of you guys can understand this, last year I have resolutions. And guess what? Those resolutions were made in 2017, 2016 and maybe even 2015 as well.

Many of our plans were never actually finished. Whether its personal development or achieving goals. We eventually lose our motivation to complete it.

But this year, we are going to be different. We are going to change for the best and the better.

Yes, you and me. We are going to start off this year strong.

A year is a long time after all, although it only seems to be a blink of an eye.

This year, I learned that Time is Expensive. So expensive that even with all the money in the world, you won’t be able to buy it back.

And, of course. Why wouldn’t we start with our trusty friend, Lynda.com.

My first resolution in 2019 is to become a person of value. So valuable that no one can replace me. I want to become invaluable to the marketplace itself. And learning skills is a must.

Here are 12 courses that I would invest my time learning, reviewing and developing myself for the better, and I believe that these will also help you as well.

#1 – Developing Self-Awareness – Gemma Leigh Roberts

I wrote about Roberts and her course before, which you may want to read it here. As we all recognize, self-awareness has been very undervalued in the marketplace. But it is one of the most powerful-est ways to improve ourselves.

Perception is a strong element in our lives, if we see ourselves to be the best then we can never improve to be better. Be aware of your strengths and weaknesses, admit that you have room for growth. Be aware of your own self. Only you know yourself the best.

2019 is the year of Growth.

#2 – Personal Finance Tips and Tricks with Jane Barratt, Amanda Clayman

Did you know the one activity that rich people do almost every day is counting their money? You see, 2018, you probably spent a lot more than you think you did. At least, I did. Spending money has become a tiny habit that we can all laid back all. Sure, getting that latest fashion product is nice or upgrading to the iPhone X sounds amazing as well. It makes you feel more comfortable but it takes a load of your account.

I suggest that you spend time reading Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. Amazing book if you wish to save yourself millions in your lifetime.

But anyways, 2019 is the year where you become better at managing YOUR money and not other peoples. Make sure your income always outrun your expense.

# 3 – Influencing Others with John Ullmen

Can you recall any leaders who do not read? No? Well, because there is none. Great leaders and also readers. If you want to influence others, you need to become a great leader. I suggest investing some time into How to Win Friends and Influence Others. One of the most foundation books for success.

Leading yourself and leading others. Only leaders make leaders, 2019, I wish everyone can be a great leader for a better humanity.

# 4 – Communicating with Confidence with Jeff Ansell

Confidence is an essential aspect and strength that we all need to improve on. Confidence is power, the power over ourselves. It gives us more than just motivation but it also gives us the ability to perform at the highest levels.

I believe we all have situations where if we were confident, the performance was stronger and insanely better than situations where we handled it in fear.

Especially communication, it allows us to connect and it allows us to gain more opportunities, not just career life but also in relationships as well.

# 5 – Improving Your Focus with Dave Crenshaw

Ever noticed yourself on the phone all the time or that you can’t really just focus on your productivity anymore? Or maybe your attention just isn’t enough to keep up with all the elements going on in your surroundings?

Don’t worry, you aren’t alone. You just need to Focus on your priorities.

If you want to be rich and smart, you need to get rid of your expenses and your distractions.

There are too many times, where I cannot focus and I am pretty sure we are the same.

So 2019, Focus on your goals, your strengths, and your life.

Alright, that’s my top 5 Lynda.com lessons and courses that I have committed myself on paper to do. I hope you guys do the same, using Lynda.com to improve your life.

Thanks for reading. Enjoy your New Years and 2019.

2019 is the year of progress and success.
